When we mention the word "Boost," we aren't spittin gamer lingo. The "Boost" we're referring to is the new 110mm spacing of the Lyric RCT3 Fork which can accommodate either a 29" wheel/tire combo or 27.5"+ wheel/tire combo up to 3" wide. Call it bike-nerd-speak if you will, but Boost technology not only provides more wheel size compatibility, but it also brings more lateral stiffness with reduced weights to the big wheel category.
As the Lyrik recognizes that what goes up must come down, it combines climbing dexterity and downhill agility through its BoXXer-derived user tunable rebound damping with internal shims, and a stout 35mm FastBlack anodized uppers. This RCT3 Charger Damper system features efficiency circuits (Pedal and Lock) which sit behind the performance damping, resisting changes on extended downhills while having excellent small bump sensitivity on relentless climbs. Zooming in on the often overlooked basics, the clever Maxle Ultimate 15mm thru axle requires but one hand for removal or installation, while still providing the benefits of a 15mm thru axle.
The Lyrik RCT3 29/27.5+ Boost Fork is offered in either Dual Position or Solo Air options.
Dual Position:
Through its clever Dual Position Air adjustment, travel can be reduced by 30mm in the flip of a switch for improved geometry and body positioning while climbing, then clicked back to the longer travel for the much anticipated descent.
Solo Air:
The Solo Air option lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously, keeping them in perfect equilibrium.

DT Swiss has released a new high engagement hub for trail and gravity riders.The new DEG hub still utilizes DT Swiss' ratchet system, but the ratchet itself is almost twice as big as the current ratchet in order to match the large hub shell of the new hub. The max number of teeth available used to be 54, but the new DEG ratchet has grown to 90 teeth, which provides 4º of engagement angle, greatly reducing the play between engagement points.
For 2025, Fox has come out swinging with an all-new lineup of forks and dampers. The new Grip X2, Grip X and Grip SL are replacing the outgoing Grip 2, Grip and Fit4 dampers which have provided amazing performance in Fox forks for years. There have been some pretty solid improvements in performance and longevity of this line of suspension and we're excited to share the information with you!
